The problem with ableism is not just about accessibility and how people with disabilities are unable to go to some places solely because there are no places for them to get to the entrance. Its more about the way people treat these disabled people. They are misunderstood many times and people need to understand how to confront them/treat them. Accessibility is a big problem too, but its getting a lot of attention and is planned to be fixed soon whereas the problem with everyday ableism is more up close and personal to everyone.

Interacting with People that are handicapped
Do not treat a person with physical disabilities like they are not intelligent. For all we know they can be smarter than you. Some people use "baby language" to speak to people on wheelchairs which boggles my mind. If you think that they are unintelligent, then what about Stephen Hawking? They might not be confident with themselves to begin with, so a cheerful smile or correct interaction with them can change a lot.

They are oppressed
Looking at a person with disabilities might make it hard to think of them the same way you would to an able-bodied person, but think about them as human, just like you, they might like the things you like to do/watch, and just because they are disabled, it doesn't mean they are automatically attracted to another person like them, they are the same as you and you should treat them like that.
